So, I'm pretty sure I've found like the best website EVER!!

You know when you're trying to get free shipping from amazon, but you have like 50 fucking cents before you can get it? Check this out: http://www.filleritem.com/ca.html Enter how much you need, and it'll generate of items closest to your price.
Alright, so I usually love my job, I work at the info desk in the student centre at my university. All my coworkers are awesome, several of them are good friends of mine and overall the job is pretty easy. Also, it's probably the most queer positive place I could work- a third of the people who work there are queer, including the two coordinators of the LGBT group on campus. However, today I had a pretty upsetting thing happen.

Some more background, so on the cover of our school newspaper was a story about how the women's centre which was previously spelled "womyn's centre" was voted at the student council general meeting to be spelled again as the "women's centre". Some random guy calls the desk and starts ranting about it. He asks me "You're a woman, how does it being spelled with a y make you feel?" I'm getting annoyed at this point "I don't care one way or another," I respond.

"You don't understand," he says "these women have an agenda- they want to convert you into a lesbian"

Here's where the shit hits the fan.

"Actually," I respond "I AM a lesbian and I'm really offended by this conversation, so I'm going to hang up now" and I do. He calls me right back and says "Look, I know you THINK you're a lesbian, but you aren't- you can change." I tell him I'm hanging up and I'm calling the police if he calls back again. Of course he calls back, my coworker picks up and he tells her "You can call the police now" and hangs up. As we're calling the police, he calls the police and talks to them- I don't know what he said to them, but all in all I'm pretty freaked out/pissed off by the whole thing. Tommorow night, I was supposed to work a graveyard shift by myself, but thankfully my friend Adam will be there to train a new employee so I won't be by myself.

Overall, I'm pissed off/slightly freaked out it happened like 10 hours ago now, but I still feel drained from it, and part of me feels like crying.

So, I'm home for the weekend and discovered that my NINE YEAR OLD brother has been searching for porn on my parents computer as evident from "sex.com" "hotwomen.com" and (my personal favourite) "nakidwomen.com" in the history. I told my mom, she kinda shrugged it off.

Well, at least the little bastard is straight- or at least until he visits "nakidmen.com"

I was just thinking about her the other day and how awesome she is. Nigel Short is apparently a chess grandmaster which means I appear hellasmart. There's another chick on there, and she seems pretty hot. However, the Jack Osborne thing is slightly disturbing. I think Kelly is kinda cute, so I'll go with that.
One thing I've learned is it is impossible to rid oneself of a farmers tan. I wore a tanktop yesterday to the multicultural festival in an attempt to do so, but it just seemed that the lower part of my arms tanned darker than the upper part. Perhaps if I got so long Audrey Hepburn style gloves and wore them around with my tanktop, then it would work.

Also, Matt and I ate very tasty falafel. It was the only vegan thing there, and if I had eaten meat he would've killed me. But the curried goat sounded very inticing.

Am I gay because I love Margaret Cho? Or do I love Maraget Cho because I am gay?

"If you are a woman, if you are a person of colour, if you are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, if you are a person of size, if you are person of intelligence, if you are a person of integrity, then you are considered a minority in this world. And it's going to be really hard for us to find messages of self-love and support anywhere.... If you don't have self-esteem, you will hesitate to do anything in your life.... You will hesitate to report a rape. You will hesitate to defend yourself when you are discriminated against because of your race, your sexuality, your size, your gender. You will hesitate to vote; you will hesitate to dream. For us to have self-esteem is truly an act of revolution, and our revolution is long overdue."

I thought of you today as I was walking through Waterloo Park. There were what I'm going to persume were hot guys playing soccer. They were all shirtless and sweaty and it was completely wasted upon me. This is about as good as when my roommate walks around in only a towel.

Environmental Lawyer

Env. Lawyer

68% Radicalism, 31% Personal Attachment
80% Pragmatic Concerns, 63% Idealistic Concerns

You're the Environmental Lawyer! [Radical Detached Pragmatic Idealist]

You have very strong opinions about the environment, and you're likely to see a list of environmental problems, then agree that they are all important. If someone asked you what was the biggest problem, you might have trouble choosing! Unfortunately, this makes it so that some people see you as a crazy, and you run the risk of alienating moderate environmentalists. Stick to the real problems and steer clear of the name-calling: you might even score a few converts!

You were more Radical than Calm, meaning you have pretty strong opinions on the matter.

You were more Detached than Attached, meaning you likely feel that resolutions of issues impact you only indirectly.

You were more Pragmatic than Skeptical, meaning you
feel that science-based environmental issues are important.

You were more Idealist than Realist, meaning you feel that environmental issues for their own sake are important.

You are likely to get along just fine with Hard-Core Environmentalists, and you will find that you agree most closely with the Green Politician. Most of the environmentalists, including even the Tree Hugger, are fine by you. Your exact opposite, the Corporate Defender, annoys you, but not as much as the Whale-Hater, who makes fun of you in ways he shouldn't. What sets you apart: you're most likely to take issue with the stance of the Small Business Owner, who is almost completely indifferent to the whole issue of the environment!

You're most likely to have watched Erin Brockovich regardless of whether or not you like Julia Roberts.

This test tracked 4 variables. How the score compared to the other people's:

Higher than 84% on Radical

Higher than 25% on Env-Personal

Higher than 88% on Env-Pragmatist

Higher than 47% on Env-Idealist

Link: The 4-Variable Environmentalist Test written by pepperonii on Ok Cupid

That makes sense- I love Ok Cupid.

I went to Symposium today with Krystal then to Stag Shop to pick up an application. (For Krystal, not me!) and we saw this . NSFW, obviously, but indeed hilarious.
